Vincent Aboubakar has stated the Porto's intention 'to go as far as possible' in the Uefa Champions League following Wednesday's annihilation of French champions Monaco at Estadio do Dragao.
The Cameroon international scored a first-half brace to steer Sergio Conceicao’s men to a 5-2 victory in the encounter.
Algeria international Yacine Brahimi, Alex Telles and Tiquinho also got their names on the scoresheet while Radamel Falcao and Kamil Glik got the visitors' consolatory goals.
The result saw the Dragons progress to the knockout phase of the Champions League after they finished second in Group G after garnering 10 points from six games. And the former Lorient striker is upbeat about their chance to go the distance in the competition.
“The most important thing is that we qualified to the next stage,” Aboubakar told club website.
