Tanzania’s swimmer Nabeel Gahhu competes during a past championship at the International School of Tanganyika (IST) in Dar es Salaam. He is among eight swimmers who will represent the country in the 2019 Africa Level 3 Regional Championship.
Dar es Salaam — Tanzania Swimming Association (TSA) has unveiled an eight-member squad for the Africa Level 3 Regional Championship, which roars into life on March 28 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The swimmers will leave for South Africa on Sunday for the four-day championship, according to Tanzania Swimming Association (TSA) secretary general, Inviolata Itatiro.
In an interview with The Citizen yesterday, Itatiro said the event would take place at the Ellis Park swimming pool.He named the swimmers as Nabeel Gahhu, Ria Save, Peter Itatiro, Natalia Ladha, Sophia Latiff, Aravind Raghavendran, Isabelle and Niamh Powell.
