Hope Wakio Mwanake has been featured on the Vanity Fair and One Young World’s 2020 Global Goals List.
Recognising the critical importance of embracing positivity, the list honours those spearheading the 17 Sustainable Development Goals outlined by the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The Kenyan environmentalist has been credited for her efforts in making cities more sustainable through her company Eco Blokes and Tiles, which addresses the high cost of construction materials and pollution.
She appears on the second edition of the prestigious list alongside some of the world’s most notable activists like Dr. Jane Goodall, British singer Ellie Goulding, British business magnate and philanthropist Sir Richard Branson, Halima Aden, among others.
