My friends and I ended up in Gojo by chance: everyone had heard “rumors” about an excellent Ethiopian restaurant somewhere in Söder, but no one recalled the name nor the address. Eventually, after a quick brainstorm with our phones, we found the place.
The restaurant is on a corner at the end of Ringvägen: beside some decorations and a gazebo right in the middle of the dining hall, what struck me the most was the fact that the place was full of “local” African customers, which gave us a confirmation that we were in the right place (or at least in a good one). Indeed we were!
Most of the main courses are served in a ‘mesob’, a traditional handmade round and super colorful basket that serves as a plate, and all meals are also accompanied by ‘injiera’, the typical thin, soft bread.
