Ghanaian DJs Vyrusky and Slim received three awards each at the 2018 edition of the Ghana DJ Awards held at Accra International Conference Centre at the weekend.
Vyrusky emerged top in the Best DJ Greater Accra Region, DJ/Artist Collaboration of the Year and Overall DJ of the Year categories. YFM’s Slim also walked away with three gongs in the Best DJ Ashanti Region, Hiplife DJ of the Year and Best Male Radio DJ of the Year categoroes.
Other DJs who won awards are the late Ebony's DJ Hypeman, DJ Shiwaawa and DJ Ricky Augustine.
"I’m humbly honored to be crowned again as the DJ of the Year for two consecutive times," DJ Vyrusky wrote on Facebook. "This couldn’t have been possible without your support and help."
"We also won Greater Accra DJ of the Year and DJ/Artist Collaboration of the Year. Thanks for your votes and I promise to make Ghana proud."
